Sheikh Hamed Dawood began at an early age to learn the spiritual singing practices by accompanying his father in his spiritual wanderings which allowed him to collect a great knowledge in this field. After the death of his father, he founded his own troupe that bears his name “Hamed S. Dawood Group”, which soon became famous around the world for its whirling Dervishes.
